Suffering expresses itself upon many faces and through various mediums of reality. In many cases, it is the thought which influences the body in a process that can be acknowledged as psychosomatic disease: physical illness and bodily disease caused by the result of erroneous thinking. It is in this respect, is mind very so much capable of causing pain and suffering within the body over an extended period of time.
With hypnotherapy, we work to reveal the source and psychosomatic origin of illness in the body under the referral of a physician and/or practitioner of the healer arts. By bypassing beta consciousness and gaining access to subconsciousness, we may come to understand the thoughts and emotions associated with the disease, and bring peace to the conflict held within the inner mind.
For instance, many times we'll here clients say things such as, "My stomach ulcer makes me angry." As hypnotherapists, we understand that it is the anger that is most likely the cause of the ulcer, and moreover, that it is an expression of long suppressed emotion turned inward. This is a common phenomenon of the world today. In order to properly function in our day-to-day living, many people suppress and/or repress (over time) emotions for the sake of priority management. As a result, longer periods of suppression can lead to physical aggravation within the body.
Subconsciousness represents over 90% of the mind, and is very so much responsible for every system within the human body. It is also the bigger, emotional brain that holds the mental capacity of that of a 12 year old. Through subtle mediums of expression, such as thoughts and emotions, the subconscious mind works to communicate conflict (i.e. unresolved hurt from the past) that is present within the mind an individual. Whenever a message is dismissed, the subconscious mind grows louder in expression, and the longer we ignore the whispers, the sooner we are eventually confronted with the shouts.
With hypnotherapy, we work to bring peace to the conflicted mind using highly effective, transformational modalities, and we honor a majority of disease in the body as the result of some psychosomatic process held within the mind. Once resolved, we find that the physical manifestation expressed within the body resolves quite naturally on its own in a truly miraculous way.
